Offering a wonderful reticulated PORCELAIN DESSERT PLATE. The plate would be beautiful as a display/cabinet plate, as a bonbon dish, or to just enjoy a dessert.
The center of the white plate features bright red strawberries on their stems with green leaves. The rim of the plate is embossed with a leaf pattern highlighted in gold gilt. The reticulation is in the form of a basket weave and is trimmed in light blue. The piece is very translucent when held up to light.
Although there is no hallmark, the numbers 05043 are hand painted on the back. The plate measures 7 ½” and is in fantastic vintage condition. Very minor gold loss without crazing, chips or cracks.
