Collection: Hull Pottery | American Art & Utility Pottery

Hull Pottery began production in 1905 in Crooksville, Ohio, and quickly established a strong reputation for producing high-quality American ceramics. The company’s early output included utilitarian stoneware, semi-porcelain dinnerware, and decorative tile, reflecting the practical needs of the early 20th century.

As tastes shifted, Hull expanded into decorative and specialty lines, achieving widespread success with its Floristware, produced for the floral industry and prized for its durability and pleasing forms. Hull’s ability to balance function with accessible design helped the company maintain a strong market presence for decades.

From the late 1960s through the mid-1980s, Hull produced some of its most recognizable serving ware under the House ’n’ Garden line, including the ever-popular Brown Drip pattern. Today, Hull Pottery is collected for its variety of forms, approachable aesthetics, and strong association with American mid-century households.
