SILVERPLATE FORKS in Oval Thread Pattern by Rogers & Brothers (Set of 6)
Low stock: 1 left
Set of SIX (6) OVAL THREAD SILVERPLATE PLACE FORKS by Rogers & Brothers. Rogers introduced the pattern in 1874. Five (5) of the forks are dinner forks and one (1) fork is a luncheon fork.
Like many pieces of antique silver plate, the dinner forks are much larger and heavier than most dinner forks, weighing 1.6 ounces and measuring 7 ⅜ inches in length. The luncheon fork is slightly smaller, measuring 7" in length.
They are in fantastic condition for their age and have no monograms. The back of the forks are stamped: ROGERS & BRO. The dinner forks are also marked with an A1 - 8 signifying the fork one of the companies highest quality pieces. The luncheon fork is marked with a 9.
Vintage silver looks beautiful displayed in a dining room or kitchen and this pattern would be stunning displayed in an antique glass jar.
