Vintage chrome era souvenir postcard featuring the Shaker Center Family Dwelling House located in Pleasant Hill, Kentucky. The largest of the Shaker Village dwelling houses, it was constructed of limestone quarried from the cliffs of the nearby Kentucky River. The building has two entrance doors, two stairways, and wide common passageways, characteristic of Shaker dwellings.
