This beautiful REDWARE CHRISTMAS DISH is a product of TURTLECREEK POTTERS, a renowned company in Morrow, Ohio that specializes in recreating authentic American redware using traditional techniques.
The dish, which could be used as a soap dish, measures 5" high by 4" wide, features a holiday design with the words "Peace on Earth Goodwill Towards Men" in yellow glaze along the edge, and a decorated Christmas tree in the center. The dish is glazed in a stunning blue and bears the Turtlecreek Potters logo, the year 1985, and the potter's name, Mary, on the back, possibly made by Mary Spellmire-Shooner of Shooner American Redware.
