Offering a wonderful piece of MAVALEIX MANDAVY & BALLEROY porcelain.
Mavaleix, Mandavy & Balleroy, sometimes referred to as B MoeM was a porcelain factory located in Limoges, France.
Hand painted with ripe red strawberries and white strawberry blossoms with a rim trimmed in gold gilt, the LIMOGES PORCELAIN PLATE and its detail are absolutely gorgeous. The mark, FRANCE B. MoeM LIMOGES dates the plate between 1908 and 1914. The piece is also signed by the artist, Commoys.
The porcelain plate is 7 ½” in diameter. It is in fantastic condition other than some minor gold gilt missing from the rim. There are no crazing, cracks or paint loss. The plate would be a great addition to a collector's antique china or Limoges collection.
