KITTY-KAT KAPERS A Staccato Study by Fanny G. Eckhardt, a renowned American female composer, was released in 1937. Eckhardt, a teacher of piano alongside her other works as a composer, highlighted the necessity of prioritizing left-hand development over right-hand in an article for the 1926 Etude magazine.
This hard-to-find G. Schemer of New York publication of the piano composition, features an Art Deco-style cover with the silhouette of a seated black cat in a vivid orange box and font lettering typical of the time.
The sheet music is in great condition, with minor wear in the fold and containing teaching notes and the original owner's name and gold star on the cover. To protect it for future use, it comes in an archival-grade protective sleeve.
