Stanislao Silésu (1883 - 1953), known as Lao, was a renowned Italian composer who spent part of his life in Paris. Lao passed away there in 1953. Arthur Reed Ropes (1859 – 1933), better known under the pseudonym Adrian Ross, was a London-based poet and lyricist, highly regarded for his works in over sixty British musical comedies during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The beautiful cover art would be stunning framed. Illustrated by Cress Woolen [sic] it features a young woman in a white summer dress standing in front of a lilac-bedecked wall, with light green and blue lettering. Back cover provides a few lines of Sing Me Love's Lullaby.
