ENGLISH FINE CHINA Three-Piece Tea Set Johnson Brothers London White

The beautiful set consisting of a teapot, covered sugar bowl, and creamer was by Johnson Brothers of Staffordshire, England and discontinued in 1994. The all-white pattern is scalloped and called London White. The lids for the teapot and sugar bowl have a button top.
The teapot holds four (4) cups and stands 4 ¼” tall. The covered sugar bowl stands 3 ½” high without the lid and 4 ½” high with the lid. The creamer will hold a little over one-cup of liquid and is 3 ⅞” high.
The mark on bottom of each piece is ENGLISH FINE CHINA by JOHNSON BROTHERS. Made in Staffordshire, England. Dishwasher and Microwave Safe. The teapot also includes the word LONDON under the mark. The set is in like new condition as it was rarely used. The complete set is hard to find.
Johnson Brothers: Johnson Brothers was founded in 1883 by four brothers, Henry, Robert, Alfred and Fred Johnson. They were grandsons of the famous Meakin dinnerware lineage. Although they started the business on a modest scale, by the 1940s, it had become probably the largest firm of earthenware manufacturers in the world, controlling a number of factories in England and abroad. The company joined the Wedgwood Group in 1968
