This postcard captures a classic aerial view of Coney Island in Cincinnati, Ohio, featuring the Sunlite Pool and numerous amusement attractions. This collectible souvenir postcard dates back to the postcard linen era.
Coney Island opened in 1886 as a picnic grove along the banks of the Ohio River, with most guests arriving by steamboat. The park began adding amusements in 1911 followed by Sunlite Pool in 1925. Before the amusements closed in 1971, Coney Island had received the distinction of being "America's Finest Amusement Park." The Coney Island Sunlite Pool has remained open to this day and is still billed as the world`s largest recirculation swimming pool.
