Real photo postcard, "Kloster Ruine Limberg being Bad Dürkheim Einst | Jetzt" depicting the before and after of Limburg Abbey, a ruined abbey near Bad Dürkheim at the edge of the Palatinate Forest in Germany. Built as a fortress in the 9th century and converted in the 11th century to a monastery with basilica, it existed until the mid 16th century.
The initials E.H.M are printed in the divided back line so the postcard may have been published by Emil Hartmann of Mannheim. The postage box imprinted with 123103 M/1320.
