Gorgeous raised relief white earthenware BROSELEY decorative tile made by MAW & COMPANY of Jackfield, England, circa 1860 to 1880. Aside from Minton, Maw & Company was one of the most successful factories in England producing decorative tiles.
The 6” by 6” tile is designed with blue-green raised flowers with branches and leaves in a darker evergreen the background. The reverse of the tile is marked in relief:
The tile is in good condition for antique decorative tile. There are a few small areas of missing glaze on the edges and on the raised relief flowers.
