The textbook was created by the American National Red Cross as a textbook and educational resource for those taking Red Cross first aid classes. It was published by Blakiston Company of Philadelphia
The Army Brown hued softcover showcases black text with the Red Cross logo - a red cross painted on a white ground cover. Containing 254 saddle-stitched pages, the book showcases 264 illustrations to assist readers/students in emergency scenarios. It remains in good condition, though displaying signs of previous ownership; such as a prior owner's name and hand-written notes. Curling and minor chipping is present on the bottom right-hand pages and the spine shows darkening.
