AIR PATROL March for Piano composed by Robert A. Hellard (1877 - 1960) was published by Theodore Presser of Philadelphia in 1945.
A lifelong resident of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Hellard was a serving member of the Wisconsin National Guard during the Mexican Border War which is exemplified in the patriotic pieces he composed, such as Captain in Command, Company B March, Little Commander, and Air Patrol. After the war, Robert headed his family's newsroom and bookbinding business and served as a piano tuner and composer. He wrote the music for a number of songs, mostly for piano, some of which were featured in movies.
The sheet music is in great condition but does have some browning and penciled teacher notes; it is packaged in a protective plastic sleeve.
