Composed by Felix Bernard and written by Dick Smith, WINTER WONDERLAND was copyrighted by Bergman, Vocco & Conn in New York in 1934. Richard Himber and His Ritz-Carlton Orchestra first recorded the classic for RCA Victor later that year. Guy Lombardo's interpretation recorded a few months later achieved significant success, becoming one of the most popular recordings of 1934.

Since its release, over 200 artists from across the globe have created their own interpretations, making this song one of the most frequently performed and played holiday tunes in history. 

This version of the sheet music is most likely from the mid-1940s as the red, white and blue cover illustration with snow covered hills, red cabin, and skiers advertises the song's recording by Johnny Mercer and the Pied Pipers on Capital Records. Published for piano, dance orchestra, symphonic band, and voice, this version includes string chords and charts.

This piece is preserved in an archival sleeve and is in generally good condition for its age but there is evidence of water damage in the bottom right corner of the cover and penciled musician notes.
