ON WISCONSIN!

A rare find for Badgers fans--an antique ALL FELT SEWN LETTER COLLEGE FLAG PENNANT from the University of Wisconsin circa 1910 - 1920.

This very attractive vintage University of Wisconsin pennant manufactured by Langrock Brothers of New York measures 35" long not including the tassels and is 13 ¾" wide at its largest point. The original tagging for Langrock is on its reverse. A second tag, hand-scripted tag in black ink, reads 72049 which may have been the stock number.

The colors are gorgeous and very vibrant--bright cardinal red and off-white. The felt lettering features an Old English style font and is perfectly machine-stitched to the flag with no loose threads. The pennant is in great  condition with no fading or tears. There are two barely noticeable pinhead size holes on the top border near the tassels, most likely from tacks. Please reference photos for detail.

The felt flag would look fantastic framed for display and would be a perfect gift for your Badgers fan or University of Wisconsin fan!  Or as a gift to yourself!
