Vintage chrome era souvenir postcard featuring the Famous Wedding Cake House located in Kennebunk, Maine. The house is a relic of the scroll-saw era. Legend has it that the paper-lace style decorating was added by a newly wedded sea captain whose bride was deprived of a wedding cake when he was ordered to sea in an emergency.
