Performed by Bing Crosby in the Paramount picture "Rhythm on the Range" in 1936, the song gained widespread recognition after Crosby delivered a heartfelt rendition in the musical. Two months after Crosby recorded the song on the Decca label, it soared to the Top 10, solidifying the song's enduring popularity.
