Collection: Cranberry Glass

Cranberry glass is a red glass made by adding gold salts or colloidal gold to molten glass.  It is normally made in craft production due to the high cost of gold and is typically hand blown or molded.

The most famous period of cranberry glass production was in 19th century Britain during the Victorian Era. During the 20th century, several glass manufacturers began producing lines of cranberry glass, including Pilgrim Glass Company and Fenton Art Glass.
