Listing is for a cute vintage CREAM PITCHER made by the FENTON ART GLASS COMPANY.
The creamer is covered by small dots and has an applied clear glass handle in a reed pattern. The reeds are distinctive and spaced close together so the light shows through. The pattern is POLKA DOT in Ruby Overlay; 2461 RO, which was released in 1956 and discontinued in 1969. The pitcher stands a little over 4 ⅛" tall. The piece is not marked on the bottom signifying its pre-1970s. The piece is in excellent condition and has no chips, cracks or repairs.
Fenton Cranberry Glass: Fenton Cranberry Glass pieces boasts genuine gold, the catalyst for transforming the molten glass into the iconic, vibrant cranberry hue. Its creation requires mastery of both the glass-blowing artistry and the scientific knowledge to mix the specific gold chloride formula. In some cases, up to 25 artisans are needed to craft a single piece.
