Vintage porcelain HOLY WATER FONT symbolizing the three Theological virtues, FAITH, HOPE and LOVE. The design features a cross, a symbol of faith; an anchor, a symbol of hope; and a heart, a symbol of love/charity. Gold gilt decorates both the vessel and the body of the font.
The beautifully crafted porcelain holy water font is hand-glazed in white with gold gilt. It is in good condition other than some missing gilt. The font measures 4 ⅞” tall by 2 ⅜" wide. Although not marked, it resembles holy water fonts made in Germany and/or France. Designed with a hole on the top for hanging on a nail.
