COMING EVENTS IN BRITAIN was a monthly magazine for everyone who has an affection for Britain--for everyone who ties with Britain--for everyone who plans to visit Britain. Every 40 to 50 page issue was filled with fine photographs of the 1950s and 1960s British scene, including beautiful countrysides, historic places, pageantry and people.
Informative articles and editorials written in story format focused on Britain's past and present--but were not limited to only travel topics. The magazine featured stories on the Puppets at Islington, Ancient Game of Bowls, and Yeoman Warders of the Tower and Exploring Churches.
A calendar of coming events in England, Scotland, Wales and the Northern United Kingdom, travel classified sections, and amazing advertisements can be found in every issue as well.
The softcover magazines measure 8 ½” by 11" and are in good to very good condition showing minimal age. They do not have a mailing label. A few are coming loose from the cover, but not detached from the staple, have small tears or ink pen notes.
