Vintage wood hand-carved figurine of a FRANCISCAN FRIAR.
The hands of the WOOD FRANCISCAN FRIAR are outstretched with palms up as if offering Holy Communion. Wearing a hooded brown robe, crucifix pendant, round wire eyeglasses and black zucchetto cap, the figurine is both hand-carved and hand painted. There are no markings.
The WOOD FRANCISCAN FRIAR is in great condition and would be a wonderful addition to someone's religious collectibles or for a follower of the Saint Francis of Assisi. Approximately 5 1/2” tall.
