Each juicer features a ribbed glass reamer cone, juice-catching bowl, and pouring spout, with individual variations in bowl shape, handle style, size, and decorative ribbing. Made of substantial clear pressed glass, these vintage reamers are as attractive displayed on an open shelf or kitchen counter as they are useful for preparing fresh citrus juice.

Collector’s Note
Glass citrus reamers were once an everyday kitchen essential, providing a simple way to prepare fresh orange, lemon, lime and grapefruit juice before electric citrus juicers became commonplace. Their molded reaming cones, pouring spouts and substantial pressed-glass construction made them both practical and durable. Today, surviving examples are collected for their varied shapes, handles, ribbed patterns and nostalgic connection to the vintage American kitchen.
Display Appeal
Beyond their original function, vintage glass reamers make wonderful display pieces for a farmhouse, cottage, retro, or collected kitchen. Their clear glass works beautifully with nearly any décor, while the different fluted, ribbed, footed and stepped forms add texture and interest to an open shelf, glass-front cabinet, kitchen counter, or vintage kitchenware collection. They can, of course, still be put to work whenever fresh citrus juice is needed.
Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition varies by individual juicer. Four are in excellent condition; Nos. 2 and 4 have small chips as specifically described in their individual variant details. No cracks or other damage noted. As vintage pressed glass, examples may show minor manufacturing irregularities, mold marks, bubbles, light utensil/contact marks, or other age-appropriate characteristics.
