This antique sheet music provides the piano music for THE PAPER CHAIN Waltz (Op. 56 No. 8) composed by the renowned Frank Lynes. It was published in 1912 by the Arthur P. Schmidt Company, as part of Lynes' educational series, "Winter Pastimes for the Pianoforte."
Frank Lynes (1858-1913) received training at the prestigious New England Conservatory as well as the renowned Leipzig Conservatory. He was a celebrated American composer and educator known for his signature piano pieces and classical-style sonatinas.
The red cover design is simple, listing the the nine pieces included in the Winter Pastimes series. It is in very good condition having the original student's name written in pencil on the front and a few teacher's notes inside. The front includes a red sticker from the teacher, signifying the student mastered the piece
