A beautiful SHAKER-STYLE OVAL BOX is expertly crafted using Shaker techniques including swallowtail joints and fastening the lap-sided bands with copper tacks. Great size to hold keepsakes or sewing supplies.
The oval shaped box is stained in a dark natural antique finish and measures 8 ⅜” by 5 ⅝” across the bottom and 3 ¼” high. The lid is also constructed using lap-sided bands and copper tacks and fits tightly on top of the carrier.
One of the tacks have slipped through the band on lid so it is loose from the bottom--possibly which can be repaired. See last image.
