Vintage ROBT. BURNS 4¢ CIGAR BOX in good condition manufactured by General Cigar Company.  Based on the price, circa is most likely the late 1940s as advertisements show this cigar selling for 5¢ by the 1950s.

The cigar box measures 5" by 4 ⅛" and 2" deep.  The edges are bound with a red banner tape repeating the name Robt. Burns every 1 ½”.  The top of the box is very simple with only the Robt. Burns name.  The green government issued revenue stamped glued to the front opening is in good condition.

The sides are not designed other than the front, which only has the word, Cigarillos.  The bottom has the state information for Pennsylvania.

The inside cover has the Robt. Burns portrait label and is in good condition other than a tear at the top.  Overall the box is in good vintage condition.
