Cute natural RATTAN WICKER BASKET PURSE WITH HINGED WOOD LID, circa 1970s.
The rectangle purse measures approximately 9 ¼” by 6”’ 4 ¼” high without the handle and 8” with the handle. There is some loss the rattan reed on the handle and in a corner, but other than that, it is great vintage condition.
This piece would make a great DIY project—imagine the purse handle wrapped with brightly colored repurposed float rope and the top painted with a funky Bohemian paisley or flower design!
