Offered here is a genuine vintage cigar box from the historic Michael Ibold Inc. of Cincinnati, Ohio, makers of some of the Midwest’s most popular cigars. This empty Sonada “All Quality” box with tax stamp dates to the 1930s–1940s, when the Ibold factories were producing more than a million cigars a month.

Sonada, marketed as “All Quality,” was one of Ibold’s most recognizable names. This particular box once held the Londres Grande Claro size — a thicker, corona-length cigar with a light-colored wrapper leaf.
