This is an older style tin LITHOGRAPH CLOWN NOISEMAKER that likely dates to the 1930s or 1940s is in the shape of a small can. The lithograph depicts two clowns, one dressed in a white and red polka-dot clown suit and the other is "toothless" and dressed in blue plaid. Scene background in yellow. A red wooden handle is attached to the side.
The LITHOGRAPH CLOWN NOISEMAKER is marked, MADE IN THE U.S.A.
The can measures a little over 3" long by 2 ¼” wide. End to end, including the attached wooden handle it is 5". Noisemaker still works and show minimal wear. The wooden handle is loose but still attached.
Nice addition to someone's clown or vintage toy collection as well as a great noisemaker for a vintage New Year's Eve or birthday party!
