Fruit

This wonderful antique French faïence fruit plate was made by Keller & Guérin of Lunéville, France (K & G Lunéville) around circa 1900 and is signed Obert on the front.

Each plate is hand painted with ripe peaches accented by a warm reddish-orange blush, rendered in Obert’s distinctive painterly style. The fruit is set against softly shaded grounds that range from deep mauve to apricot and golden tones, creating subtle variation while maintaining a cohesive look across the group.

Produced using the traditional tin-glazed faïence process, these plates exemplify the artistic quality and refined decoration that made K & G Lunéville one of France’s most celebrated pottery manufacturers at the turn of the 20th century.

Each plate measures 8½ inches in diameter and is signed Obert on the front. All are stamped on the reverse with the K & G Lunéville France maker’s mark and have two holes on the back, allowing them to be easily displayed on the wall. These peach plates are lovely displayed individually, paired with complementary Lunéville fruit plates, or grouped together to create a striking French faïence gallery wall.

Sold individually. Please select your preferred variant.
