Author Biography
John Hedgecoe was a professor of photography at the Royal College of Art in London. In addition to his long and distinguished career as a photography teacher, his classic books, including the Photographer’s Handbook and The Book of Photography, have formed the basis of photography courses throughout the world. Hedgecoe’s own photography has appeared in countless newspapers and magazines and are on permanent display in major collections in New York and London.
