Very sweet STEIFF BERLIN BEAR from the 1980s.
Wearing a red and white removable sash, marked BERLIN and a gold crown, the sweet bear has genuine mohair pile fur in a dark chocolate brown. He has brown glass eyes, an embroidered nose and mouth and felt paws.
The front side of his yellow ear button tag is labeled Steiff Knopf IM OHR 0251/34 and on the reverse, All new materials; PA55/MA5573; Covering 50% wool; 50% cotton; Made in Western Germany.
The Berlin Bear is fully jointed--arms, legs and neck all move and measures 13 ½” tall. The bear is in great vintage condition other than one of the crown petals is broken. Priced accordingly for the damage.
