This 6 ½" diameter vintage Aunt Jemima TOWEL HOLDER, based on an earlier 1900s design of Aunt Jemima with a red polka dot kerchief, most likely dates to the 1940s. The hand painted plaque is of a primitive design, likely handmade, and features two cup hooks acting as her "earrings," which may be used for small items such as keys or tea towels.
