The CAPE COD 1876 COLLECTION Sandwich Glass Centennial Serving Bowl, crafted by Avon, boasts a superior quality equivalent to that of its Sandwich Glass predecessors. Weighing in at 2.25 pounds, it stands at 3 inches tall and 8.75 inches wide, and is stamped with the Avon Centennial Edition emblem on the bottom. This bowl is in immaculate condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

Sandwich Glass and the Avon 1876 Cape Cod Collection: The Avon 1876 Cape Cod Collection pays tribute to the Boston & Sandwich Glass Works, founded in 1825 on Cape Cod, whose designs are well-known and highly prized. The collection was inspired by the classic Roman Rosette pattern; its name commemorates the 1876 Philadelphia Centennial and the region of origin for Sandwich glass. Avon produced the glassware through Wheaton Glass from 1975 to 1993.
