Ce plat à bibelots Arita de style IMARI DORÉ, peint à la main, a été conçu pour John Shillito & Company, également connu sous le nom de Shillito's, le premier grand magasin de Cincinnati. Cette pièce a été offerte lors de l'inauguration VIP de leur magasin du centre commercial Tri-County au début des années 1960.

La pièce porte l'inscription « GOLD IMARI HAND PAINTED FOR SHILLITO'S », ce qui situe son origine dans la région d'Arita au Japon. Le plat présente un motif floral dans des tons de vert avec des détails dorés et mesure environ 10 cm de diamètre. Il est dans un excellent état d'origine, sans éclats ni fissures.
