Stanford Pottery of Sebring, Ohio was known for its quality pottery, and this set is no exception. The company utilized intricate molds to produce distinctive corn-themed pieces during the mid-1940s. These items were adorned with vibrant yellow and green glazes, evoking a beautiful majolica-style finish. To add to the charm of these corn pottery pieces, Stanford frequently incorporated husk designs that formed the first letter of each item's purpose. For instance, the salt shaker featured a "S" shaped husk, while the pepper shaker had a "P" and the grease pot displayed a "G".
