Scherfern Serb ANTIQUE CIGAR WOOD MOLD OR CIGAR PRESS 4 ⅝” Mold # 411025

This is a very small SINGLE MOLD ANTIQUE CIGAR WOOD MOLD OR CIGAR PRESS measuring only 4 ⅝” in length by ⅝” wide high and 1 ¼” high.  It is uncommon to find a single mold.

The mold is in good condition other than a chip of wood missing from the near the end on the bottom side.  The bottom wood is impressed with the mold number, 411025.  The mold number is also hand written in lead pencil on the end.  There is also a name written on the side in the lead pencil that is difficult to make out--possibly Scherfern Serb but cannot confirm.  Possible German origin.
