The HONEY OR MUSTARD JAR with LID is not marked but may have been manufactured by the Imperial Glass in the Old Williamsburg Clear pattern, or earlier by Heisey Glass in the Puritan pattern. Puritan was the forerunner of Old Williamsburg Clear.

The sides are designed with six panels and a star pattern is molded on the base of the jar. The lid is also designed with six panels and a six-sided finial handle. The jar measure 4" without the lid and 5 ½” with the lid. The base measures 3" across.

About Imperial Glass: Imperial Glass was founded in Bellaire, Ohio by Edward Muhleman, a former Wheeling riverboat captain and financier in 1901

The company usually made press glass patterns and is most famous for its "Candlewick" pattern. In 1957, Imperial purchased the molds for Heisey and a few years later from Cambridge Glass. Low demand led to the closure of Imperial in 1984.
