BRASS MATCH SAFE with Cloisonné Enamel Circa 1920s
Vintage brass match safe decorated with a blue floral cloisonné design on both sides. The turquoise blue background is filled with gold curly-q filigrees, topped with tiny red and pink flowers with a green leaf. The age is most likely circa 1920s to 1930s.
The length of the match safe measures 2 ¼” and its width is 1 ½” wide. The height is ⅞". One end is completely open while the other end has only an oval cut out.
There is wear to the piece and it appears to have been constructed and forged by hand. It has not been polished or cleaned.
The beautiful piece would make great addition to anyone's vintage tobacciana collection.

We strive to provide you the best in antique, collectibles and vintage items and do our best to provide you within the written description as much information, whether it’s the history, manufacturer or condition, for each item we sell.
