Real photo postcard, "Bad Dürkheim a.d. Weinstraße Kurhaus" depicting the hotel and spa located on the wine trail near Bad Dürkheim, Germany.
The building was built in 1822 as a town hall and school building on the site of a Leiningen baroque castle that burned down in 1794. Since 1936, it has served as a spa hotel.
The initials E.H.M are printed in the divided back line so the postcard may have been published by Emil Hartmann of Mannheim. The postage box imprinted with 15 123589 M/1320.
