Antique GAUDY STYLE STICK SPATTER Hand Painted Plate by Villeroy & Boch Circa 1874 to 1909

A very old GAUDY STYLE STICK SPATTER DECORATED PLATE made by Villeroy & Boch, circa 1874 to 1909.

The antique plate measures about 8 ½” in diameter and is hand painted with bright colored beautiful sprays of red cabbage rose flowers in the well of the plate and deep purple blue bell flowers and mustard yellow flowers on the lip. The plate's well is deeper than most plates.

The base of the plate is stamped with an early Villeroy & Boch mark with embossed with pattern number N21 8.

The plate is in very good condition with very light crazing, common for porcelain of this age.
