Very cute handcrafted vintage natural-toned WICKER / RATTAN HANDLE PURSE. The basket-style purse is in the shape of a rectangle.
Gorgeous woven design and shape, this sweet purse is made of wicker / rattan, including the loop style hinge. The weave is accented with a black plastic reed about every 1/2" inch or so. The purse is designed without a clasp so the top is not secured. However, this could be easily remedied.
The overall condition is great, showing only light to normal wear, with no specific issues to note. It has great color and no fading. The left and right sides are slightly uneven, but this is not noticeable with the lid closed.
The height of the purse is just under 6 " tall without handles and about 11 ½” with the handles. Width of the purse body measures about 7" long by 5" wide.
What a fun find! Great purse for a farm-style wedding or displayed on a dresser with vintage hankies or a floral display.
