COMING EVENTS IN BRITAIN Vintage Travel Magazine Full Year (12 Issues) Copyright © 1956
Perfect for travel enthusiasts or vintage advertising collectors--a full year of 12 issues of COMING EVENTS IN BRITAIN from 1956.
COMING EVENTS IN BRITAIN was a monthly magazine for everyone who has an affection for Britain--for everyone who ties with Britain--for everyone who plans to visit Britain. Every 40 to 50 page issue was filled with fine photographs of the 1950s and 1960s British scene, including beautiful countrysides, historic places, pageantry and people.
Informative articles and editorials in story format were about Britain's past and present--and not limited to travel topics. For example, the February 1956 issue featured a story on the history, craftsmanship and process of Belleek pottery, while the March 1956 issue included multiple pages featuring "stately and country" homes in Britain. Another issue has a story on the history of English puddings.
A calendar of coming events in England, Scotland, Wales and the Northern United Kingdom, travel classified sections, and amazing advertisements can be found in every issue as well.
The softcover magazines measure 8 ½” by 11" and are in good to very good condition showing minimal age. They do not have a mailing label. A few are coming loose from the cover, but not detached from the staple, have small tears or ink pen notes. If you have questions, including the content or condition, please contact us.
The listing is for the full 1956 year of 12 issues, but we do have other issues of COMING EVENTS IN BRITAIN for sale.
