A rural farm and Scottish countryside is depicted on this retired DUNOON SCOTLAND BONE CHINA MUG. Designed by illustrator and engraver, Sue Scullard, the mug features a stable boy holding the reins of a beautiful white spotted horse and drinking ale from a pewter tankard. Beside him is a playful dog and birds at his feet. A thatched cottage is in the foreground.

The illustration is 360 degrees and completely covers all sides. This is one of Dunoon's earlier pieces from the late 1980s to early 1990s.

Made in Scotland, the mug is 4.25" tall using the Dunoon Devon shape. The capacity is about 8 ounces and is in great vintage condition.
