Offering a wonderful addition to your china collection, BACCHUS RED Queens Ware by Wedgwood.  The pattern is now discontinued and the uncommon pieces like the RIMMED SOUP BOWL are becoming hard to find.

Red grapes and green leaves decorate the rim of the white bowl and the rim's edge is scalloped with a delicate shell-edge shape.  The bowl measures 8 ¼” wide rim to rim and is slightly more than 1 ¼” deep.

The base of the bowl is stamped with WEDGWOOD ETRURIA & BARLASTON Made in England.  Since the mark does not include registered trademark ® symbol above the name, WEDGWOOD, the circa of the bowl is between 1940 - 1974.  The base also includes the hand-painted number AMH9773 7 and embossed mold number.

Great condition for the age and free from chips and cracks.  Due to age there may be imperfections from use, such as minor scratches, trim wear, and/or minor crazing.

Five bowls are available as shown in some of the images, but the bowls are sold individually. The matching large chop plate is available in a separate listing.
