Offering a wonderful addition to your china collection, BACCHUS RED Queens Ware by Wedgwood.  The pattern is now discontinued and the uncommon pieces like the LARGE CHOP PLATE are becoming hard to find.

Red grapes and green leaves decorate the rim of the chop plate and the rim's edge is scalloped with a delicate shell-edge shape.  The chop plate measures about 12 ¾” wide rim to rim and 1” deep.

The base is stamped with WEDGWOOD ETRURIA & BARLASTON Made in England.  Since the mark does not include registered trademark ® symbol above the name, WEDGWOOD, the circa of the piece is between 1940 - 1974.  The base also includes the hand-painted number A9443 2 (or A9773 2) and embossed mold number.

Great condition for the age and free from chips and cracks.  Due to age there may be imperfections from use, such as minor scratches, trim wear, and/or minor crazing.

Matching rimmed soup bowls are available in a separate listing. Please contact us for a combined shipping estimate.
