This is an all original EUGENIA DOLL COMPANY COMPOSITION DOLL and she is a sweetie! The Eugenia Doll Company operated in New York City from the late 1930s into the 1950s.

Standing at only 5 1/2" tall with thick wavy carrot red hair down her back, she is marked Eugenia Doll on her back. Her arms are jointed and legs fixed, her little face and black shoes are painted, and is wearing her original dress--a yellow bodice with pink skirt. Underneath, her muslin underpants are stapled on.

There is some crazing on her face and legs (see pictures) and some of the paint has worn off her sweet face, but her red hair is in great vintage shape, with the side part still sewn down.  She is one of Eugenia's earlier storybook type dolls, circa 1930s to early 1940s.
