This vintage amber-colored WAN-ETA-COCOA quart-size mason jar held prized cocoa produced by the Massachusetts Chocolate Company of Boston.  The vintage jar is circa 1920 – 1930 and has the number “16” embossed on the base.

The mason jar is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.  The jar has mold seam that runs through the neck and is designed with a continuous external screw thread for sealing, known as a "bead seal" jar.

The embossed raised letter on the front sidewall reads on three lines:

WAN-ETA
COCOA
BOSTON
 
The WAN-ETA-COCOA mason jar also includes an Atlas zinc lid marked Genuine Boyd's Cap for Mason Jar
 
This jar would be a great addition to your farmhouse decorating!
