Thomaston Bicentennial Purple Amethyst Glass Bottle Featuring Henry Knox Circa 1977

Beautiful purple amethyst colored glass souvenir bottle celebrating the THOMASTON MAINE BICENTENNIAL (1777 - 1977).

The flask-shaped bottle is embossed on one side with the town's bicentennial logo depicting its roots in shipbuilding, logging and brick making, while the other side features Major General Henry Knox, an early founder of Maine who retired to Thomaston after many years of service under George Washington.

Measures a little over 7" high and 5" wide at its largest width and is in great condition with no cracks or chips. There is some roughness inside an indent on the bottom, likely from the mold manufacturing.

Note:  Historic bottles should not be used for food or beverage storage
